He is survived by : his nephew Gabriel Gomez; his wife Dolores Luna; his children, Melissa De Leon (Alonzo), Laura Vega (Rene) and Jaime Luna (Karina); his grandchildren, Victoria De Leon (Sujei Rodriguez), Valorie De Leon, Vivian De Leon, Cody Vega (Claire), Coltin Vega, Kayla Rendon, Andrew Cavazos, Danielle Luna and Patrick Luna; his great grandchildren, Caysen Vega, Ayva and Blayke De Leon; and his siblings, Chilo Acosta, Rosie Barrera, Margie Engel, Rene Luna, Raul Luna, Johnny Luna and Frankie Luna.
