He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Orama and Aurea Orama; and his brother Osvaldo Orama. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Orama; and his children, Liesel O. Simon (Clayton), Lynne O. Hamilton (Brad), Linette O. Neal (Jonathan), Leslie O. Kinman (Brett) and Luis O. Orama (Brittany). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three half siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
