He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Munguia and Constancia Ledesma Munguia; and his brother Rafael Munguia. He is survived by: his wife Dora Imelda Cavazos; his children, Raul Munguia, Jr., Kevin A. Gutierrez and Bobie Jo Kelley; and his siblings, Stefana Hernandez, Carmen Garza, Ernestina Mata, Elizardo Munguia and Angelica Tippin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
