He is survived by : his children, Ruben Hinojosa Jr., Criselda Hernandez, Alfonso Hinojosa, Graciela Hinojosa and Ricardo Hinojosa; and his sisters, Otila Hinojosa, Irma Rodriguez and Irene Mercado. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
