Darward Gene Gates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darward Gene Gates of Edna, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Gates and Ruby Parrish Gates; his siblings, J. B. Gates, Eugene Gates and Connie Gates Miller; his son Randy Gerjes; and his grandson Brandon Gerjes.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Parker Gates; his children, Brenda Jacobs (Timmy) and Bobby Gerjes (Robin); and his grandchildren, Shannon Srp, Jake Srp, Josh Srp, Shelly Davis, Stephanie Morgan, Bobbi Jo Biehunko and Tandi Stewart. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
