He is survived by: his partner Shirley Barnes; his sons, Felton "Button" Hopes Jr. and Morris Hopes of Edna; his stepgrandson Nikia Dilworth, Jr. of Edna; and his siblings, Audrey Tones, Yvonne Pleasant, Dorothy Williams (Don), Doris Bryant (Chas), Ora Mae Sparks (Wessie), Evelyn Callies (Al), Hillery Edwards, Jr., Charles Edwards (Faye), Ervin Edwards (Jean), Earl Edwards and Noble Edwards (Lori).
