She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Kocich and Elsie Emma Kresta Kocich; her husband George Barecky, Sr.; and her siblings, Leonita Shadden and Edward "Sonny" Kocich.
She is survived by: her children, George Michael Barecky, Jr. (Dru) of Lubbock, Melinda Pierce (Larry) of Victoria and Malacha Benich (Tim) of El Campo; and her grandchildren, Mike Barecky, April Grunewald (Cory), Melaney Vinson (Shawn), Cody Pierce (Frances), Monica Butler (Russell), Chelsea Bubela (Ryan) and Shane Benich. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
