She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Pustka and Mary Valigura Pustka; her husband Obie O'Briant; her grandson Chase Johnson; and her close friend Elaine Lukas.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Johnson (Gary) of El Campo, Lynette O'Briant of El Campo, Paula Rod (David Grall) of Corpus Christi and Kevin O'Briant (Maria) of Edna; her grandchildren, Slade Johnson, Matt Rod, Kara Rod Thyen, Hunter O'Briant, Hannah O'Briant, Hailey Ratcliff, Sandra Salazar, Karla Salazar and Lesly Prado; her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Presley, Avery, Alex, Adam, John, William, Calvin and Addison; and her great great grandchild Hallie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the El Campo Volunteer Fire Department.
