Elizabeth Rose Fleming McGill Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Rose Fleming McGill of El Lago, Texas, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Rose Fleming McGill to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fleming and Honorah Fleming; her brothers, Stephen and Joseph Fleming; and her siblings-in-law, Susie Fleming, Vivian McGill, Pat McGill, Nancy McGill, Charlie Hinkle and John McGill.

She is survived by: her husband James McGill; her children, Brian McGill (Adrienne) and Erin Russell (Terry); her grandchildren, Margarette McGill, John McGill, Ellen Kelly (Joshua), Benjamin McGill, William Russell, James Russell and Gwyneth Dolen; her great grandchild Honorah Kelly; her siblings, Honorah Hinkle, Bill Fleming (Lynn), Marie Tattersall (Chuck), Trudy Fleming and Xav Fleming; and her in-laws, Bob McGill, Betsy Stephenson (John) and Steve McGill (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and dear, dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home (311 N Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church (18300 Upper Bay Rd, Houston, TX 77058).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Thomas the Apostle, in honor of her welcoming, generous, and compassionate heart.
