It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita E. Talavera (El Paso, Texas), who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Anita shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anita farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Talavera; her brothers, Rogelio, Francisco and Oscar Cuevas; and her parents, Macedonio and Maria.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Talavera Jr., Jesus Talavera, Rosa Salazar, Patricia Paul and Margarita Talavera. She is also survived by spouses, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many more loving family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Missio Dei Church (11601 Montwood Dr, El Paso, TX 79936). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
