He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Manuela; his son Armando Jr.; and his siblings, Daniel, Hector, Esther, Aurora and Beatriz.

He is survived by: his wife Jessie; his children, Hank, Maria, Matthew, Christina and Thelma; and his grandchildren, Priscilla, Joshua, Judith, Isaac, Mariah, Leah, Micah, Elijah, Adrian, Paul, Steven, Austin and Travis. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
