We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 87, Fernando B. Gaytan (El Paso, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Feliciano O. Gaytan; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Ramirez (Conrad); his wife Estela Ortega; his granddaughter Stephanie; his siblings, Lupe Gaucin and Rodolfo Gaytan (Esther); and also, Vergil Cavin, Ernesto Carrizal and Thomas J. Smallwood.

He is survived by: his mother Amelia Gaytan; his children, Mary Bernadette Shindo (Bernie), Bernie (Joe) and Fernando, Jr.; and his siblings, Lencho (Clara), Luz Carrizal, Mary Cavin, Tencha Ceballos (Cuco), Elva Smallwood (Michael Groemling) and Norma Gonzalez (Angel). He is also survived by his grandsons.
