He is survived by: his children, Jose Antonio Parra and Donna Lynn Abeyta; his siblings, Raul Chavez, Rosario Chavez, Jose Chavez, Carmen Bacquera, Lydia Moreno, Juana Chavez and Consuelo Marrufo; his grandchildren, Alexis Parra, Brianna Parra and Jose Antonio Parra Jr.; and his great grandchild Aniyah Naomi Kenion.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
