She was predeceased by : her husband Pedro Sr.; and her sons, Pedro Jr. and Antonio Gaytan. She is survived by : her daughter Martha; her children-in-law, Renard Alston and Angie Gaytan; and her stepdaughter Evangelina Salazar. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Perches Funeral Home - East (2280 Joe Battle Blvd, El Paso, TX 79938). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2709 Alabama St, El Paso, TX 79930). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907).
