She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence. She is survived by: her siblings, Gus Puth and Kay Breitbach; her children, Rick Owens, Roger Owens and Teresa Owens; and her grandchildren, Christen, Amanda and Andrew Owens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79904). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the RestlawnMemorial Park Cemetery (8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904).
She will be remembered not only for her contributions to medicine but also for her kindness and strength of character.
