She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Mena and Maria G. Mena. She is survived by: her siblings, Candelario (Lena), Roberto, Nemesio (Domitilia), Rafaela (Manuel Flores), Jose (Eva), Jesus (Gloria), Enrique (Mary), Eugenio (Velia) and Amelia (Ernesto Perea); her husband Martin Garcia; her children, Marianne Martinez (Bobby), Martin Garcia Jr. (Huette) and Melissa Mejia (Barnabie); and her sisters-in-law, Rosie Carreon, Irene Garcia and Gloria Mena. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeraria (3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903). A rosary was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church (408 Park St, El Paso, TX 79901). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
