She is survived by : her husband Melvin Douglas; her children, Kevin Covington (Annette) of Pflugerville, TX, Ami Lawson (Shaheen) of Hinesville, GA, Tisa Douglas of Hutto, TX, Gina (Jonathan), Melvin Jr. (Jennifer) of Horizon City, TX, James Covington, Tami Jackson (Henry) and Crystal Douglas of El Paso, TX; and her adoptive children, Osvaldo Castaneda, Cyrus Arnold, Marcus McKaige (Melissa), Harold "Avon" Andersen (Jessica), Luciana, Joseph and Christian Dowell. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, sister friends and brother friends.
