He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard and Jacobo. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his sons, Santiago "Jimmy" Jr. (Andrea) and Gilbert "Gil" Alvarado (Lynna); his grandchildren, Jake, Regan, Austin and Ryan; and his siblings, Betty, Eloy and Danny.
