She was predeceased by : her husband Jesus "Chuy" Bonilla; her parents, Albino Velasquez and Francisca Velasquez; and her siblings, Luis, Albino, Angel, Armando, Anita, Emma, Josefina and Ernestina.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia, Christopher (Susana) and Judith; and her sisters, Rita and Gloria. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

A rosary was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the San Jose Funeral Home East (10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935). A Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, TX 79925). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
