It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy G. Farris of Elgin, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dorothy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorothy leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jeff Williams and Sara Williams of Waco, TX; and her brother Robert Williams of Brownwood, TX.. She is survived by : her sons, Mike Farris (Eileen) of Pflugerville, TX and Jeff Farris (Shawn) of Granbury, TX; and her sisters, Joyce Ewing of Waco, TX and Ann Bales of Cedar Rapids, IA..

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eastlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (1921 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).

Memorials in her honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
