He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Ann Nunez of Latexo; his wife Erica West Nunez of Elkhart; his children, Jesse West (Tori) of Latexo, Brianna Nunez of Lufkin, Alexis Durham of Linden, Kaytlynn Nunez of Elkhart, Elbert Jim Nunez, Jr. of Elkhart and Clayton Smith of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Jesse West, Jr. and Asher West; his siblings, Ernest Escobar of Latexo, Joseph Escobar of Latexo and Amy Norman of Carrollton; his mother-in-law Rebecca O'Pry of Tyler; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie West of Elkhart and Briar Thompson (Jennifer) of Palestine; and his niece Olivia Rose Thompson. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
