He is survived by : his parents, Arturo E. Marquez and Catarina L. Marquez; his close friend Ida Soledad Ruiz; his son Tristan Marquez; and his sisters, Abby Lopez (Arturo) and Vanessa Maldonado (Eli). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
