She was predeceased by: her parents, William Askew and Barbara Askew; her grandson Justin; her husband James H. Tharp; and her brothers, Odell Askew, Marion Askew, Hollis Askew and Worley Askew.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Tharp (Sandra), Billy Tharp (Kitti) and David Tharp (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jim Tharp (Ronda), Melissa Blair (Cory), Jacob Tharp, Jessi Tharp and Cody Tharp; and her great grandchildren, Maia Tharp, Melayna Blair and Gunner Blair.
