He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Fira; his daughters, Michelle Rena Fira (Christopher Rene Hernandez), Jennifer Marie Fira and Bunny Marie Fira (Luis Mulero); his granddaughter Bianca Michelle Fira; and his siblings, Delia Saenz, Ophelia Fira, Raul Fira, Rene Fira, Oralia Davis, Dora Martinez, Gilbert Fira, Benjamin Fira and Gus Fira. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home (800 S Kaufman St, Ennis, TX 75119). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (401 E Lampasas St, Ennis, TX 75119). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at the Joseph Cemetery.
