It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catarino Reyes Lopez III of Euless, Texas, born in Del Rio, Texas, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catarino H Lopez Jr. and Beatrice Reyes Lopez (Reyes); and his sister Margie Rios. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ozebek Lopez; his children, Tony Lopez, Victoria Whitley (Caleb) and Velvet Lopez; his grandsons, Colby Whitley, Dexter Whitley and Beckett Whitley; and his siblings, Irma Navarro, Lupe, Hilda Vasquez (Fred) and Pablo Lopez (Alma). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In a world full of independence and isolation, recently made worse by a global pandemic, Lino was a collector of friends and builder of community.
