She was predeceased by : her son Jimmy Jackson Couey (J. J.); her parents, C. B. Miller and Leota Miller; and her brothers, Butch Garcia and William Eugene Miller (Bill).

She is survived by : her granddaughter Alexandria Couey (Lexi); and her sisters, Vicki Koonce and Marie Sammons English. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to an animal shelter or animal rescue organization of your choice.
