She is survived by : her children, Tracie Lynne of Houston and Terry Alan of Fairfield, Texas.; her former life partner James Ezell; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Riley, Lorin, Phoebe, Laila, Tobias, Wyatt and Connor; her husband Martin Alewine; and her sons, Michael and Mitchell. She is also survived by two children, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Don Thornton wrote a sympathy message

“My first memories of Emma Ezell was when she lived in the old Radford house on the corner next to me, at S. Keechi and Reunion, in Fairfield. Tracie and Terry were just kids then. I remember that she, in spite of her crutches, was never far from a smile. There are just some people who make you smile, no matter what was going on around you, and Emma was one of those. I pray, Tracie and Terry, that God will give you both the peace that passes all understanding in coming days. Don Thornton”
