It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Hardy of Fannett, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles and Eleanor; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by : his wife Julia Hardy of Fannett; his stepsons, Brandon Schwartzenburg (Kerri), Nick Schwartzenburg (Jillian) and Dustin Schwartzenburg; his siblings, Patricia Richardson of Seguin and Mark Hardy of Beaumont; his nephews, Jay and Thomas Richardson; and his niece Ashlyn Adams (Kevin).

In the mid 90's he was known as the bicycle guy, who would find old bicycles, refurbish them, and donate them to Boys Haven in Beaumont for the children there to enjoy.
