She was predeceased by : her parents, Roscoe Bego and Pauline Hoff Bego; her husband Edward "Red" Strong, Jr.; and her brothers, Leland Bego (Marjorie), Woodrow Bego (Polly), Bill Bego (Joy) and Harold Bego.
She is survived by : her sister-in-law Cynthia S Barfield (Bennie); her granddaughter Mary Bego; her niece Alana S Barfield; and her nephews, Lea Chambers, Karen Thompson and Debra Gamblin.
