With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lewis Pollard (Farmers Branch, Texas), who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his mother Maurine Cox Pollard; his daughter Heather; his parent Dub Pollard; and his brothers, Tommy and Donny Pollard.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Bassett Pollard; his son-in-law Mitch Wright; his grandson Dylan; his sister Judy (Paul Drewry) of Tyler, TX; and his niece Julie Westberry (John). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and a wide circle of extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in David's name to the Salvation Army Dallas Shelter and Services - Carr P. Collins Social Services Center, or to Autism Speaks.
