He was predeceased by : his parents, Earnest E. Martin and Rosie Martin (McCall); and his siblings, Eune Martin, Ravis Isbell, Elizabeth McGuire and Imelda Howell.

He is survived by : his wife Yaunda Dale; his children, William Martin (Sheran) of Farwell, Texas and Yalonda McFarland of Farwell, Texas; and his sister Verna Davis of Farwell, Texas. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; and his fourteen great-grandchildren.
