She was predeceased by : her parents, Hipolito Vasquez and Valeria Camarillo Vasquez; her husband Pedro "Pete" Pena Sr.; and her siblings, Estevan Vasquez, Joaquin Vasquez, Frank Vasquez, Natalia Herrera and Vicenta Rodriguez.

She is survived by : her son Pedro Pena Jr.; her grandchildren, Joel Pena, Kevin Pena and Katie Johnson; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Avery, Rory, Jack and Rachel; and her sister Frances Medina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
