She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Zahn and Stella Mazac Zahn; her son James Fischer; her children-in-law, David Rethaber and Mary Weaver Fischer; her siblings, Leo Zahn, Jr., Adela Felux, Stella Foerster and Annie Tkodlec; her great grandchild Carol Rethaber; and her close friend Adolfo Leal.
She is survived by : her daughter Cindy (Harvey Polasek); her grandsons, Robert Rethaber (Ruth) and Dr. James Rethaber (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Calysta, Mary Stella, William and Timothy Rethaber; her sisters, Rose Polasek, Dorothy Sugarek and Bertha Walpole; and her sister-in-law Judy Zahn.
