He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Jennings and Lucy Mae Jennings; and his siblings, John Edward Clay, Lorenza Jennings and Lenora Jennings Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Anne Marie; his daughters, Lucy Marie and Sister Lue Cindy Terry Sr. (Richard); his brother-in-law Huntley Nicholas; his nephews, Jason Terry, Richard Terry Jr., Anthony Haile, Omar Nicholas, Cameron Jackson, Avery Nicholas, Sky Nicholas and Justin Nicholas; and his niece Morgan Nicholas.

“Elroy's passions were his faith, Anne Marie, Lucy, Cindy and all sports. Especially Michigan Wolverines. I liked bantering with him on Facebook about sports, while unbeknownst to him I knew mostly nothing about sports. I am already missing his daily Bible verses, celebrity birthdays, pictures of luxury cars and stylish shoes. He fought the good fight, God saw this, and welcomed his faithful servant home.
