He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schacht and Dimon Schacht; his wife Gayle; his brother Neil Schacht; his sister-in-law Tina Schacht; his nephew Eric Schacht; and his brother-in-law Gerald McAnally.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Hermann (Winston); his sibling's children, Karen Schacht Moore, Laura Schacht Doherty (John), Stephanie Hermann Onstott (Earl) and Winston Hermann (Michelle); his brothers-in-law, Dan McAnally and Devin McAnally; and his sons, Dwight Jackson, Jr. (Haley), Wade Jackson (Terry) and Boyd Jackson (Shanna). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney Sunday (402 S Main St, Lockney, TX 79241). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lockney Methodist Church (102 W Poplar St, Lockney, TX 79241).
