He was predeceased by : his parents, Luis Mendoza and Soledad Mendoza; and his siblings, Louie Mendoza and Alicia Mendoza. He is survived by : his wife Elida Mendoza; his daughters, Inez Jr. Mendoza (Liz), Norma Scott (Mark) and Sylvia Jauregui (Charlie); his grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Aaron Scott, Denon Jauregui and Candie Garza (Jacob); and his sisters, Beatrice Barrio, Gloria Campos and Leonor Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
