It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maria Luisa (Amaro) Overton in Fort Bliss, Texas, who passed away, on November 18, 2020. She was predeceased by : her husband Richard T. Overton, Jr.; and her son Guillermo Amaro. She is survived by : her former life partner Gregorio Amaro, Sr.; and her children, Myrna Hartnett (David) of California, Ana Valencia of Austin, Luciana Kirkland (John) of New Mexico, Gregorio Amaro (Lisa) of New Hampshire and Javier Amaro (Elizabeth) of New Mexico. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Overton will be laid to rest at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Monday, November 30th, 2020 at 10:30 a. m. Due to pandemic there will not be any services at the cemetery and only family members (10) may witness the interment.
