He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Claude and Zella Mae Hightower; his wife Yvonne Williamson; and his sons, Bobbe Edwin Hightower Jr. (Ed) and Fredrick Ersel Hightower. He was also cherished by his two sons, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
