He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Fuentes and Octavia Fuentes; his son Enrique "Henry" Fuentes; and his siblings, Rita Fuentes Gonzales, Jose "Pepe" Fuentes, Carmen Fuentes, Amelia Fuentes Sanchez, Octavia "Tavita" Rodriguez, Francisco "Pancho" Fuentes and Arturo Fuentes.
He is survived by: his wife Natalia Fuentes; his children, Sylvia Mesa (Ray), Rosela Johnson (Kenny), Patsy Herrera (Cruz), Jaime Fuentes and Steve Fuentes (Millie); and his brother Alberto Fuentes, Jr..
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home of the BIG Bend (301 N Main St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (403 S Main St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735).
