He was predeceased by : his father Clyde Edwards Sr.; his stepfather John D. Hostutler Sr.; his sisters, Peggy Lynn Murray and Christina Denise Edwards; and his uncles, Wallace Bruton and David Bruton.
He is survived by : his mother Helen L. Edwards; his brothers, Clyde Edwards Jr. (Kathleen Richter Edwards) and William Richard Edwards; and his aunt Betty Bruton. He is also survived by the 9 nephews and nieces.
