It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Tiroff (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Carolyn Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn Sue leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnie O. Burns and Opal Rush Burns of Palmer Texas; her husband Alvin Joseph Tiroff; and her brothers, Virgil and Ray Burns.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Jill Flores (John); her children, Jake, Josh, Stacy Strassman (Klaus), Amanda and Amber; her brother Kenneth Burns (Bettye); and her friends, Colleen Fitzpatrick and Debbie "Mad Dog" Parish. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
