Carson Davis FitzGibbon Obituary

Carson Davis FitzGibbon, age 22, died of an accidental fall on March 2, 2023, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Carson is survived by his parents, Mike and Suzie FitzGibbon, of Fort Worth; and his younger brother, Connor. Carson was born on March 12, 2000, in Arlington, Texas, to parents Mike and Suzie. His love of robotics led him to pursue an Engineering degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, graduating in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Following his graduation, Carson returned home and started his search for a position in the robotics field. Carson was the ideal son and brother. He enjoyed understanding how things worked and indoor climbing. His family and friends will always remember him as a serious yet extremely friendly and lovable person.

A memorial service is scheduled for Carson at 11:00am on March 13, 2023, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Dr, North Richland Hills, Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carson's life. The family would like to thank all in advance for remembering Carson. Since Carson was a passionate and enthusiastic member of the RoboVikes when he attended Nolan Catholic High School and in honor of his love of robotics, we ask that, in lieu of flowers, any memorials for Carson be directed to Nolan Catholic and specifically dedicated to the RoboVikes. Donations can be directed to https://nolancatholichs.ejoinme.org. Thank you in advance for your memorial gift in honor of Carson.

Christine Suttle (Mrs. Leger) wrote a sympathy message

“I am so very sorry to hear of Carson's passing. As one of his early teachers, I remember him well. He was so smart, sweet, and a true joy to have in class. I hear he was on the path to do great things. Mrs. Oliver showed me a picture with him and Connor at her retirement party. That kind, sweet look he had never changed! I know he will be so missed by so many. His spirit will always be with those who knew and loved him. -Mrs. Leger, SJS Early Childhood Teacher”

“Carson was one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met. He was always there for me in high school and I'll miss our bi-annual check ins on our birthdays. I have so many wonderful memories with him, from our summer of field biology to his gracious patience with me as he helped with my many Visual Basic projects and many more. I am forever grateful to have been able to call him my friend. I pray for him and for his family.”

“I will never forget carson. I’ve known him since our Galveston days. He was a beast at climbing who climbed with such grace and technique. I constantly looked up to the way he climbed because I strived to flow the way he did. I will think of him every time I climb ! Sending prayers for the Fitzgibbon family and for Carson’s soul. I will love and miss Carson always.”
