She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Roberts and Minnie MaGee; her husbands, Farris Page Wheat and Aubrey Dean Scruggs; her sons, Farris Wheat and Sonny Wheat; and her granddaughter Aimee Joiner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Monya Henson (Dennis) and Debra Murray (Robbie); and her grandchildren, Carrie Wheat, Chance Joiner, James Joiner, Autumn Murray, Joel Murray, Kimberly Wheat, Ashley and Jim Ashmore. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Martin Thompson and Son Funeral Home (6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76133). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Laurel Land Cemetery (7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134).
