She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Peyton Elder Jr. and Veleria "Punk" Elder; and her brother James "Jimmy" Peyton Elder III. She is survived by: her children, Mindy Myrick (Jay) and Steven Culwell (Laramie); and her grandchildren, Steven Bradley Culwell Jr., Connor Jay Myrick and Peyton Lee Culwell. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Liz's memory.
