He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Kirk Gabbert Sr. and Billie Joyce McCluskey Gabbert; his sister Beth; and his daughter Angela Larson. He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his children, Darran Gabbert (Jennifer), Kimberly Sullivan and Mike Sullivan (Tina); his grandchildren, Jacob Gabbert (Jennifer), Caleb Gabbert (Maddie), Sarah Nelson (Adam), Joshua Sullivan, Ross Sullivan, Tawna Parks (Shane), Tim Wilson (Katlyn), Veronica Moreno (Fonzy) and Elizabeth Serrano; his sister Candace "Candy" Huckaby (Dean); his nieces, Lori Sipowicz (Tim) and Casie Bellomy; and his pet Holly. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
