With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Bates Cutbirth (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sydney and Omie Ilier Lewis Bates; her husband Henry; and her siblings, Francis, Eugene, James, Cecil, Floyd Bates Sr., Hazel Tanner, Estelle Bates, Pauline Stewart, Lauther Ree Stewart, Mae Birchfield and Dorothy Clay.

She is survived by: her son Duron Kevin Cutbirth Sr.; her grandsons, Duron Kevin Cutbirth II and Shaun Harrison Cutbirth; and her great grandchildren, Adaleine Rose Cutbirth, Everleigh Grace Cutbirth and Duron Kevin Cutbirth III.
