He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollin Smith and Vera Nell Watson (Patterson); his father-in-law Wiley Watson; his sister Barbara Sebastian; and his son Stephen Scott Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith; his children, Mike Smith and Terri Evans (Jon); his brother Billy Watson (Kay); his grandsons, Justin Wendel Bateman, Ethan Smith, Caleb Smith and Kayce Myers; and his great grandchildren, Kutter, Xaniah, Ryker, Luna and Jorge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Wendel's legacy & values will live on Forever. in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society or St Jude.
