He was predeceased by: his wife Sofia Oviedo Calamaco; his sons, Ismael Calamaco Jr. and Osbaldo Calamaco; and his mother Carolina R. Maldonado. He is survived by: his daughters, Aracely Garza and Carolina Anzaldua; his grandchildren, Deanna Perez, Cindy Aguilar, Eddie Alberto Garza, Joe David Anzaldua and Venessa Anzaldua; and his siblings, Elia Hernandez, Arturo Calamaco, Dora Bertha Guzman and Jose Calamaco. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
