He is survived by: his father Wayne Whitaker; his wife Eileen Tabb Whitaker; his daughters, Kenzie and Addie; his siblings, Daren Whitaker and Stacie; his brother-in-law Mike McGregor; his brother Troy; and his sister-in-law Kim Tabb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was honored to present a donation check to St. Jude on behalf of Averitt employees, knowing that his efforts made a difference in the lives of children and families.
