He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Basaldu and Victoria Basaldu; his sisters, Victoria Florez and Audelia Salazar; and his son Juan Manuel.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Basaldu; his children, Manuel Basaldu (Carmen), Cruz Basaldu, Marco Basaldu, Joey Basaldu (Jessica), Molly Castro (Roy), Sylvia Jaramillo (Kenny Sr.), Elva Kingsley, Barbara Basaldu and Brandi Hernandez (Armando); his brothers, Santiago Basaldu (Maria) and Manuel Basaldu (Mary); his grandsons, Kenny Jaramillo and Joe Cruz Hernandez; and his son-in-law Armando Hernandez. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, close cousins, friends.
